An excellent opportunity for an experienced qualified accountant to join an exciting and interesting international business that will empower and develop an individual that is up for a challenge. As a Group Reporting Manager, you will support the Group Reporting team in all reporting and compliance matters. You will manage the respective statutory consolidation and help the local team in Group Audit. You will get involved with the accounting of various of the group’s subsidiaries. You will use your initiative to improve processes and practices and take responsibility for the ownership of accounting activity.

Accounting:

  • Take ownership of the respective consolidation and audit process
  • Work on the financial statements disclosures consolidation including taxes
  • Assist in the group statutory consolidation process
  • Act as a key person for the Group reporting team in the dedicated jurisdiction on all statutory and reporting matters
  • Prepare accounting papers for various accounting treatments as per IFRS
  • Oversee the assigned entities’ day-to-day accounting processes, ensuring that proper books of accounts are maintained for effective financial control following corporate standards and statutory requirements
  • Assist the Head of Group Reporting to manage the group accounting environment and financial reporting
  • Support in project manages the local reporting and compliance for all entities in Pakistan
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of financial and accounting operations and systems, procedures and practices considering automation and improvement of business processes
  • Work closely with other members of the Finance team, such as the Business Partners and Systems Accountant, in the provision of support to business colleagues
  • Assist in the development and review of accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with IFRS
  • Perform other reporting activities and work closely with the team to achieve the overall team's objectives.

Business Partnering:

  • Point of Contact for the Group to oversee and support the accounting, local compliance and reporting
  • Responsible for reviewing sub-group consolidation, and supporting local teams on technical matters
  • Intercompany reconciliations and group consolidation of related party balances
  • Support auditors on the quarterly and annual audit process

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 5/6 years of accounting experience with a minimum of 3 years in the Big4 Audit firms
  • Relationship building and stakeholder management ability strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Possess analytical, statistical and numeracy skills including problem-solving and attention to detail
